Sunny is a purebred Golden Retriever boy (DOB 12/8/2022), about 15 months old; 75lbs., up-to-date on all his vaccines, neutered, heart-worm negative, and micro chipped. Sunny is a smiling, active boy who loves people.

Sunny was found by a couple in less than desirable conditions so they decided to take him home immediately. Unfortunately their male dog wasn’t a fan but Sunny and their female dog enjoyed playing together; in fact, he was very respectful of her. So because of the house tension they contacted us.

He rides well in a car, is house trained, and crate trained. If you have other dog(s) in the family, a meet and greet is required. We understand that he is OK with a cat.

Sunny is learning leash manners and that sit means sit and the 2 second sit isn’t exactly what is meant; along with stay and course down/off. He is a very smart boy. Sunny also likes toys, chasing balls, running in a yard and lots of human attention, and as you can see in the photo, he also chills out.

Sunny wants a loving, active family of his own; a fenced in yard would definitely be ideal for him- no under-ground fences. We suggest no children under 8 since he is still young, strong, and a joyful, happy soul.
