Ollie is a purebred Golden Retriever, about 98 pounds (tall not fat), neutered, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped. Ollie may be 8 yrs old but he is an active, happy boy, who loves people; so don’t let his age fool you.

Ollie is an owner surrender. He is good with children over 8 years old and because of his happy energy, no smaller children. We are told Ollie never learned how to play properly so playing with other dogs, can escalate into more than it should so dog parks and unattended playtime is not advised. But if you have a larger dog, a meet and greet is required to determine if it will work. We do not know what he thinks of cats.

Ollie rides very well in a car, is house-trained, likes being walked and groomed, and crate trained. Ollie is a smart, lovable boy,  who loves to play with toys, comes when called, and knows sit.  His dream is to be with his person all the time but he is OK alone. Just be sure to give him lots of cuddles and play time.

Ollie is looking for a loving/active home with a fenced in yard, and plenty of time for him. Oh yes, he comes with his favorite plush bed, collar, harness and leash; and if he hasn’t lost it, a favorite toy.
