Lanie was found as a stray, and we think she is a purebred Golden Retriever. She is about 60 lbs., and is up to date on all her shots, is heart-worm negative and spayed. She is approximately 6 years old. She keeps her kennel clean so she appears to be housebroken.
Lanie is very sweet, very people oriented. She is very polite when meeting new people. She very gently jumped up to give me a hug and was very respectful when I put her feet on the ground. She attempted to jump in the car, but needed a little bit of help. She rode in a crate in the car and was very good. She does not pull hard on the leash, but does need a few leash manners. She was very patient and cooperative when putting on her harness.
Lanie is very loving and would love to be with her human. She enjoyed her new surroundings in the yard and enjoyed exploring. We don't know how she is with children or other dogs, but based on her personality she will be great with any human or dog. She is mostly healthy, but she has a history of skin disease due to allergies, based on her current condition. She does have some hair loss, mostly on her feet and her ears. She must remain on flea control and heart-worm prevention with no skipped doses year-round.
She is ready for adoption and would love to be in her new home with someone that will give her the best veterinary care as well as the loving attention of her people. Her hair will grow back and her ears will get better. Can you provide her with the love and attention she needs?
Adoption Fee $300.00
