Lacie was adopted in July of 2022, however, due to a serious family illness, Lacie needed to be returned to TVGRR.

 Lacie is a purebred Golden Retriever. She is about 70 lbs., and is up to date on all her shots, is heartworm negative and spayed. She was born on July 14, 2015, so she will be 8 years old.  She is housebroken. She has some mild storm anxiety, on a scale from 1-10, she is maybe a 2-3.  She rides very well in the car, however she needs some help getting into the back of an SUV.  She will put her front feet up on the back of the car and will wait to be lifted into the car.  I suspect she would have no problems getting into a “lower to the ground” car.

Lacie is very sweet, very people oriented. She does not jump up on people and she absolutely loves kids.  She is very respectful of the other dogs space.

Lacie would like to go to a home with someone that has time to train her and care for her and just be there for her. Lacie loves to play with other dogs, but she does like the bigger dogs.  She plays a little rough with the smaller dogs.  She would love to have a fenced in yard where she can run around and play.

Lacie does need some leash training and that would be a very good way to bond with her.

Lacie is very loving and wants attention.  This sweet and playful girl is ready for a good home who will appreciate all the love and attention you can give her!
