Flame is about 40 lbs and less than a year old, maybe 10 months. No, he's not a golden, but he certainly has a golden personality. We think he may be part golden retriever, or golden lab and the rest is unknown. He is up to date on all his necessary vaccines to date. Also micro-chipped, heart-worm negative and crate trained. He does keep his crate clean.

We don't know a great deal about him as he was thankfully rescued from a less than desirable home. He wasn't treated well, the children in that home were hitting him with sticks and just tossed food at him. We were told the owner was on the verge of just opening the door and letting him go. He was removed from that home by a young girl and her father who immediately called us for help. As we all agree, no dog should be treated that way.

Even with all that Flame has endured in his young life, he is just the sweetest most loving boy. Always with a smile on his face and a wagging tail. We know he likes to ride in cars, will let you take his toys away, and comes when called even though he really doesn't know his name. Remarkably enough he does know to sit, stay and wait. He is good with children over 8 years old only because he is still a puppy and has a lot of energy.

He is great with large and small dogs but remember due to his youth he just wants to play but he does have a quiet side too.

Flame would be great with an active family who would include him in their activities. A fenced in yard is always a plus.

His adoption fee is $400.00
