Josie is a beautiful, red PB Golden Retriever, and she will be 8 years old on February 18, 2026.  She is current on shots, heart-worm prevention, crate trained and weighs approximately 70 lbs.  She can be shy at first but she is coming out of her shell and is being playful in the yard. She is very loving and friendly.

Josie is an owner release to TVGRR because she is skittish around small children.  Her owners were very sad to give her up, but it was done in the best interest for Josie.

Josie is house trained, used to being groomed, and loves walks.  She has some obedience training to include sit, stay, down. She is not afraid of storms.

Josie has some sensitivity with her hips and tail and doesn’t like when people and dogs come up behind her.  She does not like to be startled. She would do best with low impact exercising such as walking and swimming.

Josie lived with a dog in her previous home and got along fine with him, however, she can be choosy with who she wants to be friends with.
